48VDC POWER SYSTEMS

Telecom and wireless networks typically operate on negative (-) 48VDC power.

Telecom Power Systems

48VDC

Telecom power plants and batteries have the plus (+) side of the battery connected to ground, which is commonly referred to as “negative 48 volt”. In this configuration the minus side of the battery becomes the “hot” conductor and the + is no longer hot, rather it’s at zero potential due to being connected to ground and referred to as the “return” wire. Uptronix can furnish and install a turnkey DC plant to support a wide array of wireless systems and telecommunication equipment.

Typical systems include:

Scalability (allows you to expand for future growth)

Hot swappable power modules

Redundant power modules

Adjustable output (42-56 VDC)

DC to AC inverter options

DC distribution options

Scalable battery time

High efficiency (96%)

Network monitoring

Rackmount
