BATTERY MAINTENANCE
Whether you’re looking for help with preventive maintenance or need to purchase a new battery string, Uptronix can tailor a solution to meet your specific needs.
We can also help with battery system design, installation and ongoing preventive maintenance service.
BATTERY REMOVAL/DISPOSAL
When the time comes to shut down an old UPS system, we can help with the proper removal and disposal of sealed (VRLA) or flooded cell lead acid batteries.
Batteries that are no longer in service should be removed by trained service personnel and disposed at an EPA certified reclamation center.
CAPACITOR REPLACEMENT
UPS systems use large capacitor banks. These capacitor banks are made up of both DC electrolytic and AC polymeric film capacitors.
AC polymeric film and DC electrolytic capacitors both degrade under normal operating conditions. The aging of the capacitor is a slow process which takes place over years but eventually leads to a capacitor failure unless the capacitors are periodically replaced
OBSOLETE UPS
The major OEM’s are designing new models at an increasing pace and as a result some OEM’s are limiting factory support of older models.
In some cases, they will no longer provide parts or technical support for legacy UPS systems.
OBSOLETE PARTS
Uptronix maintains an extensive inventory of spare parts for obsolete UPS systems. We can also provide new replacement parts as well.
LOAD BANK TESTING
Load bank testing is the best way to validate and ensure the operational integrity of a mission critical power system, without using the critical load for testing.
EMERGENCY SERVICE
Equipment failure can happen at anytime and when it does Uptronix is just a phone call away.
We have a fully staffed call center available on a 24-hour basis. We have trained Field Service Engineers ready to respond to any emergency.
